Strategic communications consultancy

Public relations campaigns and plans are prepared to best practice format, starting with clients’ business goals and existing marketing plans. Campaign goals are set, priority audiences identified and strategies, themes and tactics devised. Timeline, budgetary projections and evaluation methods are incorporated to enable ongoing assessment of campaign effectiveness and adaptation where required.

Brand reputation management

Brand reputation management is based on solid, pragmatic solutions and strategic market insights that are offered on an ongoing basis.

Social media management

Social media campaigns address the audience where they are – in networked, community spaces where information is shared. The gamut of online tools are employed, from Twitter to Facebook and RSS feeds as dictated by the PR strategy, to make the most of this powerful means of consumer word-of-mouth.

Traditional media liaison

A comprehensive database of media, including specialist and freelance writers, is selectively targeted according to area of interest and campaign goals. With South African journalists receiving anything up to a staggering 800 emails per day – up to 95% of which are deleted[1], now more than ever an intelligent, considered approach is essential.
Feature pitches are presented on the basis of an intimate understanding of targeted media and their audiences. News releases are personalised per media type and addressed to journalists by name, while event invitations are issued only to those journalists most instrumental to the success of the campaign. Event themes are devised to ensure newsworthiness and at no stage are inferior events or news distribution proposed.

Copy writing and production

All public relations copy is produced in-house including news releases, feature pitches, web copy, blogs, e-newsletters, award submissions, sponsorship requests and technical copy as identified in the strategic plan.

Ad-hoc consultancy

Public relations support is available for ad-hoc and once-off projects such as news release production, annual reports and event coordination.
